Claude Monet, 1840 –1926
Snow Scene at Argenteuil, 1875
© The National Gallery, London
For this painting Monet has chosen a soft palette of pastels to represent the snowy street scene of a winter's day in Argenteuil. The Oriental Lilies, large Anastasia blooms and Avalanche Roses are complemented by billowing clusters of soft Stallion Chrysanthemums. This pure white arrangement is permeated with delicate lilac Lisianthus and the stunning Memory Lane Rose. Eryngium and Birch are included to represent the woody textures lining the pavements adding height throughout, finished off with a selection of snow tipped cones.
These luxury flowers are inspired by the masterpieces housed at the National Gallery. Each bouquet is beautifully arranged by our floral designers exclusively for the National Gallery. Included you will receive a gift card print of the artwork and a National Gallery care guide.
